What better thing is there to do but to sip a good wine accompanied by local delicacies of the area?
The restaurants and “trattorie” offer a wide range of local and traditional dishes of the Valpolicella area using only fresh ingredients indigenous to the zone.

Special dishes include Veronese “soppressa” salami, Monte Veronese DOP cheese, Risotto with Amarone, “pastissada di caval” (horsemeat stew), boiled meats with “pearà” (pepper sauce), hand-made tagliatelle noodles seasoned with local truffles, and shortbread with Recioto.
