The “Brolo” (walled garden): six hectares of ground, completely surrounded by a high stone wall, the 17^th century villa, the walk made by century old cypress, the lake hidden in the wood, the tower and cave with the spring. The main structure was built for sure around 1700s, while the adjacent country cottages were built around the year1600, époque that testifies the existence of “marogne” (walls). Built in the second part of 1800s are the neo-gothic tower, the installation of the garden, and the cave. The vineyard, with south-east exposure, has been planted on terraces sustained by “marogne” (walls), characteristic of the agrarian landscape of Valpolicella. All this characterizes a small and charming place ideally situated on the hill of Castelrotto. Since the year 1990 farm Villabellini is producing DOC wines of Valpolicella, guaranteed by the cultivation following biological methods.
