PRESENTATION:

The company REDORO is situated in Grezzana, in the heart of Valpantena (north of Verona), a valley cultivated mostly with olive-yards and vineyards. Following the tradition and a lovely devotion, the company began in 1895 to cultivate the olive-yards around itself. from many years it has two mills, the first one in Grezzana and the other one in Mezzane, the second situated in the valley that stretches from the east Veronese plains to the Lessinian mountains.Recently the farm has bought also the mill of Bardolino, in which is been produced only extra virgin olive oil DOP Garda.The mills are working at full speed in November at December. They collect olives coming from the seven  valleys nearby, covering a very wide extension range. More or less 700 agricultural producers bring their best olives to the two mills. The average annual production is around 10.000 quintals of olives.Ambition of this production areas is to obtain as soon as possible the DOC for the production of extra virgin olive oil.The olives harvest is made by hand when the maturation is perfect, and the olives are brought to the mills in the same day. Here olives are worked with the system of cold pressing, an ancient traditional method that guarantees the maintenance of the organoleptic properties of extra virgin olive oil, without draining its nutrients and its benefits for a healthy diet. Every stage of the working process is controlled by qualified technicians.
