Tenuta Sant'Antonio

FOUR BROTHERS AND A DREAM BORN AMONG THE PATERNAL VINEYARDS IN THE HEART OF VALPOLICELLA.

Armando, Tiziano, Paolo and Massimo Castagnedi: four brothers and a single passion that was born in the paternal vineyards of San Zeno di Colognola ai Colli, in Valpolicella where the most famous Scaliger wines are produced: Amarone, Valpolicella, Soave.

In 1989 the courageous and far-sighted choice to buy a property in the Garbi Mountains laid the foundations for what is today an agricultural estate known all over the world and producer of great wine excellences, with more than a hectare of cultivated land and a center for advanced refinement.

Tenuta Sant'Antonio rises among the rolling hills of the Illasi and Mezzane valleys, where the climate is mild and enjoys the benefits of Lake Garda.

It is here that the Corvinone, Corvina and Rondinella varieties grow. But also Garganega, Trebbiano di Soave and Chardonnay. This is where dreams come true. And also great wines, such as Amarone, Valpolicella and Soave.

The world of wine is constantly evolving. The research in this field gives the production continuous ideas and new possibilities regarding processing.

Tenuta Sant’Antonio's goal is to create products with a greater personality, in particular, towards a more natural production.

For about four to five years Tenuta Sant’Antonio has chosen to undertake an experience different from traditional processing, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, trying to take advantage of the innovations provided by innovative research laboratories.
An experience that began when Tenuta Sant’Antonio discovered the possibility of producing wines without the use of sulphites: the Télos project was born.

Currently the wines produced are:

- Amarone della Valpolicella Selezione Antonio Castagnedi
- Amarone della Valpolicella Campo dei Gigli
- Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva Lilium Est

- Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso Monti Garbi
- Valpolicella Superiore La Bandina
- Valpolicella Nanfrè

- Soave Cru Monte Ceriani
- Soave Cru Vecchie Vigne
- Soave Fontana

- Recioto della Valpolicella Argille Bianche
- Passito Colori d'Autunno
