Begali Lorenzo

The Azienda Agricola Begali Lorenzo is a family-run business and was born in a small village called Ledge, from the name of the rocks that dot the hill overlooking the town. Cengia is located in the heart of the classic Valpolicella, on the slopes of the Castelrotto hill, in the municipality of S. Pietro in Cariano, halfway between the city of Verona and Lake Garda.

We are a family business located in the municipality of San Pietro in Cariano and founded in 1943 by grandfather Giordano now run by his son Lorenzo and his wife Adriana supported by their children Tiliana and Giordano. Since 1986 we have been selling our first bottles with our label.

We are proud to work the land with our hands because it all starts in the vineyard and every stage of production is followed directly by our family.

The production is very accurate in all its phases; from work in the countryside to that in the cellar, to allow the search for a continuous improvement in quality.

We are a company linked to tradition: in the vineyard with our Veronesi pergolas; in the cellar where we refine our wines mainly in large oak barrels and tonneaux; in the production of our wines which have a good structure but with low residual sugar, good acidity and therefore very clean and elegant.
